O.K. then...

Well I did say that readers of this blog are reticent, but really! Nothing in the comments box.

Either you are

1/ the most incurious people in the world

2/ I have covered everything on my blog you might possibly want to know (and even more )

3/ you are all away on holiday

4/ you are trapped under something heavy, able to reach the mouse to click and open websites, but unable to reach the keyboard to type a question

Whichever is true - I'm off to lounge in the sun.

    Hi Sue,
Finished re-reading "But I told you..." this afternoon as part of a Sunday afternoon pre nap rest that never turned into sleep and out of curiosity googled to see if you have written anything else since your Plotting books which I also have. Found this blog. I was on my phone and I persevered as was feeling too lazy to get up out of bed to fetch my laptop! Anticipation was mounting as I knew it would not be long before I would be able to view your photos in more than postage stamp size and I wrote a comment to tell you - then I lost it trying to decide what identity to use! So here I am now on my laptop and you are "pinned" to my desktop. I am working through 2007 - hope to get up to the present day soon. Meanwhile I wish you good remembering which helps a little with the pain of sad remembering. And much thanks for all your perceptive honest and insightful beautiful writing.Jen

  2. Wow.

    Wow.

I have just woken up with a sinus headache and found your comment. What an amazingly heartening way to start the week.

    'Thank you' doesn't cut it.
But thank you. I may comment again when I get back from Bakewell market - my early Monday morning expedition.

  3. Hi Jen
I just wanted to say thank you again for your very kind last sentence (as well as what went before.) You have no idea how encouraging it is to hear directly that a reader has enjoyed one's writing - that it has touched them in some way. This is especially the case when it is obvious from some of the reviews of the Plotting books on Amazon, that some readers just don't "get" them.
    Sue
