I only grow two annuals every year - cosmos and sweet peas, and now I have found a way to keep the slugs off the former when they are seedlings I am a very happy bunny.Sue Hepworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15371516958537364663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18554411.post-1158389535433834332021-08-18T16:47:39.314+00:002021-08-18T16:47:39.314+00:00Hi Sue, Very enjoyable blog post. However, I loved the book, a gripping story well told with lots of laughs along the way.
Looking at your book pile I see some familiar titles. Also the intriguing, 'The Bronte's Went to Woolworths', one to check out!
Beautiful photos of your garden & the grasses. I have grown Cosmos flowers from seed for the first time this year. Giving me many happy moments. Feeling chuffed with myself.
Your father was quite a wordsmith, must run in the family!
Congrats to your son in the USA.
Hope your week, at least on the home front, is a good one.
Sally xxSallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07954668997538985140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18554411.post-2079324084559342922021-08-15T08:28:50.622+00:002021-08-15T08:28:50.622+00:00Thanks, Thea, x I read the book list again and hav...Thanks, Thea, x I read the book list again and have to say that In a Fathers Place is a book of short stories.Sue Hepworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15371516958537364663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18554411.post-80351893805356081222021-08-14T17:47:16.422+00:002021-08-14T17:47:16.422+00:00What a juicy roundup!

Your heritage is clear.

And I think you are onto something with the grasses. They are so delicate and BEAUTIFUL!

Thea xx Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
