Who cares about lockdown? My new book is out! Here it is! My new book! Available! (Yes, yes, I know I shouldn't be using all these exclamation marks, but who the hell cares when my book is out?)
Hi Sue, Congratulations on your new book! I am really enjoying it - it makes me smile, something we all need right now. It makes us think about all the things we have to be grateful for, not to dwell on the negatives. I'm enjoying the "down-time" to do even more spinning, knitting, reading and gardening and like you, I live in a rural area and can enjoy the outdoors without fear of breaching the social isolating rules. I'm just so grateful that the drought, bush fires and smoke haze are behind us - the countryside here is now green and lush and the weather cool and comfortable. Let's hope families can learn how to entertain themselves, be creative with food prep., and enjoy each other's company - it's going to be a long 6 months otherwise. Stay well. Best wishes, Kristine

ReplyDeleteThank you Kristine, it's lovely to hear from you and hear what you're doing. And so good to hear you're enjoying the book.

Hi Helen
ReplyDeleteI understand. On Monday I spent so long working on the computer I was really fed up with it by teatime.
