I went to see the film about Philippe Petit last night - the man who tight-rope-walked between the tops of the Twin Towers in 1974. It was sooooh inspiring.
To have a dream of doing something like that and follow it through the years to completion is amazing. But it would have been impossible without his friends. Quite apart from their emotional support, their practical help was essential.
Talking of support, I wouldn't be writing if Dave hadn't supported me. Oh, and Dave, do you have time to fix me up a tight-rope in the back garden this morning? I really, really want to have a go at it.

Man on Wire
