On not blogging

My brother on the phone at the weekend: 'You haven't blogged. Why haven't you blogged?'

Me: 'I've got nothing to say.'

Him: 'Well, put some nice photos on, then. Get outside with your camera and take some spring flowers.'

Me: 'I don't want to just put photos on. I was thinking of baring my soul.'

Him: 'Oh no. Don't bare your soul.'

Gales of laughter.

Wouldn't that be a wonderful alternative weather forecast: "The Deep low that had settled over much of England is to be replaced with gales of laughter in the north and sprinkles of giggles on high ground. Floods of chuckles may be experienced on low lying areas with a risk of outbreaks of guffawing. Blizzards of tittering are a real possibility in the East, while the border regions may experience early morning cackling which will give way to roaring with intermittent snickering as the sun rises. There is a yellow warning for braying in Devon and Cornwall but it may amount to nothing more than snorting. The outlook is for the gales of laughter to move south through the country in the next few days" (probably been done before) Jenetta (chortle!)
