I am back in that dark place of shocked and tortured incredulity that the world can stand by while a so-called civilised country, a country regarded by the western world as an ally, can commit genocide.
And more than that, that a nation we live in - and our allies - can continue to supply the weapons to do it.
What kind of a world do we live in?

dearest sue, there was a day this this week when I went under. Felt like physical pain, lack of air. Heart sore at the lack of empathy, the callous almost carefree lack of accountability. You know , I watched that old movie Judgement at Nuremberg this past weekend and it was frightening and wonderful how relevant it is. One quote from it:
A country is not a rock, it is what it stands for.
